A six-day, five-night camp for teens interested in birds and nature
Tons of birding and a little classroom instruction
Sponsors: GA DNR, Georgia Ornithological Society, and Atlanta Audubon Society
3:1 student to teacher ratio. Instructors are professional biologists and teachers, all with 20+ years of experience
When?
June 4-9, 2016
Where?
The camp will be based at Epworth by the Sea on St. Simons Island. We’ll be birding on Okefenokee NWR, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, Altamaha WMA, Andrews Island, Sapelo Island, and Harris Neck NWR.
Who?
Hosting 16 students, ages 12-16. Older students may be eligible.mailto:bob.sargent@dnr.ga.gov
How much?
Registration:
$375 Early registration (January 15 - April 1, 2016)
$425 April 2 – May 7 (Deadline is May 7, 2016)
$100 Non-refundable deposit
