Site No. 15 - EL Huie LAF and Newman Wetlands Center

The gate to the Newman Wetlands Center is now governed by an automatic 
timer. The gate always opens at 7 am, and closes at 5 pm during November to  March and 7 pm during March to October. Please be sure you are off the trails in  plenty of time to leave the parking lot.

The accessibility for Lakes Shamrock and Blalock has changed. Both lakes  are now open only from March 1 until October 31, and are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays within those dates. The $5 fee still does not apply to birders if you are out in less than 30 minutes.
