Site No. 31 - COBB OWL FIELDS In early March 2002 the owl fields were plowed and burned, soon after signs went up indicating new ownership of this area. The owls themselves probably are not affected by the fire since they should be headed north by now, but it remains to be seen what effect this will have on these fields ability to support rats and owls this coming winter.
