Le Conte's SparrowThe winter Eufaula meeting featured birding on and in the vicinity of Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge, with a special emphasis on waterfowl, hawks, sparrows and other winter residents of the Chattahoochee River. The Bradley Unit Eufaula NWR in Georgia has recently been discovered to be a  wintering location for Le Conte's Sparrows, and this refuge is one of the more reliable locations in the state for Snow and Greater White-fronted Geese.  The Friday night program was presented by the refuge staff and the Saturday night program was presented by Peter Stangel. The meeting was headquartered at Lakepoint Resort State Park, Eufaula, AL.
