A male PAINTED BUNTING continues at a feeder at a private residence in
Carrollton, Carroll Co. If you wish to try to see this bird please call the RBA

A male BALTIMORE ORIOLE was observed in Decatur, Dekalb Co., and another male in
Dekalb Co. in the Morningside area.

On 12/26, two BALTIMORE ORIOLES were seen in Warner Robins.

The Lapland Longspur flock at Sam Smith Park, Bartow Co., diminished over the
past week and a half, with one bird seen on 12/27 and none on 12/28. Note that
the fields surrounding the park are most likely private.

A ROSS'S GOOSE was observed at Lake Kedron in Peachtree City, Fayette Co. on
12/3. From I-85 southwest of Atlanta, take GA 74 south toward Peachtree City.
Look for Peachtree Parkway as you near Peachtree City. Turn left onto Peachtree
Parkway, which forms a causeway over Lake Kedron. The goose was seen from the
causeway.

A NASHVILLE WARBLER continues at Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta.
Three TENNESSEE WARBLERS, two AMERICAN REDSTARTS and one COMMON YELLOWTHROAT
were also seen today.

A small flock of LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS continue at the Altamaha SWMA, McIntosh
Co. They can be seen from the viewing platform at the M.A.R.S.H. project on
Champney Island. BLACK-BELLIED WHISTLING-DUCKS have also been seen sporadically
at the Altamaha, on both Champney Island and Butler Island. An American Bittern
was also seen on Butler Island this past weekend.
