5 WHITE-WINGED SCOTER, along with 5 CANVASBACK, found 19 Feb

A LONG-BILLED CURLEW was seen Feb 8 from the Jekyll Is causeway in Glynn Co,
along with 6 WHIMBREL, 24 MARBLED GODWIT, 37 AMERICAN AVOCET, and a MERLIN. The
same day, 4 ROSEATE SPOONBILL, 62 BLACK- CROWNED NIGHT-HERON, & 17
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON were seen at the Amphitheater Pond on Jekyll Is.

Large numbers of SANDHILL CRANES are on the move northwards. Around 3500 were
seen feeding at Fite Bend Rd in Gordon Co.
