Charlie Muise banded this Northern Saw-whet Owl in his backyard in Lamar Co. on 2 Dec 2007.  The series of photos to the left were taken by Tracey Muise as Charlie (and their son Allan) gather several measurement during the process of banding the owl.  Note that the top photo is out order.  A portion of the silver USF&W band can be seen on the leg of the owl at the lower right hand corner of the photo.
