After going many years unreported (perhaps unsubstantiated is more correct) in the state, a second Bullock's Oriole was found in December 2005, this time in Bulloch Co. John Parrish, who has studied Baltimore Oriole winter pecan orchard usage for several years (see The Oriole, Vol. 68, Nos. 1, 2), located this immature male in late December in a pecan orchard outside of Statesboro, GA. |
